Jose Jesus Rivera, 66, of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021. He was born on April 17, 1954 to the late Jose and Maria (Rodriguez) Rivera. Those left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Eloisa Tamez; seven daughters, Patricia Tsauceda, Jeanette Tamez, Alice Pesqueda, Leticia Montelongo, Yvonne Gonzales, Candy Tamez, and Beth Tamez; one son, Jaime Rivera; 20 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren, five brothers, and two sisters. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10, 2021 from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Freedom Baptist Church, 302 40th St. Lubbock, TX, with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Texas.
