Jose Alfredo Quezada, 62, of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021. He was born on May 13, 1958 in Benito Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Petronilo and Ramona (Enriquez) Quezada. He married Cindy Carrizalez in the mid 80's here in Lubbock. Jose loved having family time, he enjoyed cooking, playing pool, raising animals, farming, and gardening. He was very well known for his "Tall Tales". Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cindy Quezada, Children: Ramona Cuellar and husband Jose, Francesca Cavazos and husband Miguel Garcia, Abraham Herrera and wife Crystal. Thomas Herrera and wife Griselda and Mary Paredez and husband Andy, his mother, Ramona Quezada, two sisters: Sandra and Alicia, 19 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Jose is preceded in death by his father, Petronilo Quezada, grandson, AJ and sister, Maria. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 3:00 pm at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Texas.
