Jose Pedro "Pitin" Bonilla -Ortiz, 56, of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022. He was born on December 27, 1965 to Pedro Bonilla and Bartola Ortiz in Mexico. Pitin was a loving son, brother, and uncle. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Bartola Ortiz; siblings, Saul Bonilla-Ortiz, Marcelo Bonilla-Ortiz, Jose Bonilla-Ortiz, Guadalupe Bonilla-Ortiz, Mario Melendez, Criselda Castillo; numerous nieces and nephews; girlfriend, Elizabeth Vasquez; and  best friend, Enrique "Kike" Chavarria.

Pitin was preceded in death by his father, Pedro Bonilla-Ortiz; sister, Maria Laura Bonilla-Ortiz.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
