Jorge Arredondo Sr. (Porky) (68) was born to Vicente & Vidala Arredondo February 3rd, 1952 in Laredo, Texas. He passed January 6th, 2021 at University Medical Center in Lubbock TX. Jorge attended Estacado High School. Jorge went on to marry Donna Perez on December 12th, 1981 in Lubbock TX, in which they would have celebrated 40 years this year. Although Jorge was a jack of all trades he was retired for many years as his hobbies were fishing, cooking both inside and outside on the grill and everyone knows he loved watching the Longhorns play football. Jorge will be remembered for his smile that lit up a room, his love for dancing, his sense of humor, his love of food (a lot of food at that), and his most favorite thing was the precious time he had with his Family. Jorge is survived by: His wife Donna Arredondo, His children; Jorge & MaryJane Arredondo, Anthony & Monica Perez, Fabian & Rachelle Arredondo, his 5 Grandchildren; Adrianna, Alexandria, Andrea, Zechariah & Jordan, his 3 Great Grandchildren; Arianna, Camila & Elliott and 2 sisters Cecilia Robles & Mary Hernandez. Jorge is proceeded in death by His Father & Mother Vicente & Vidala Arredondo and his brother Vicente Antonio Arredondo. Jorge will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held on January 14th, 2021 at The House of Angels Funeral Home, 1928 34th street Lubbock TX from 5pm-9pm with prayer at 7pm. Funeral Services will be held January 15th, 2021, 11am at The Worship Center 12701 Indiana Ave Lubbock TX 79423, with Pastor Todd Turnbow officiating the services accompanied by Mariachi Estrella. Jorge will be laid at his final resting place at Peaceful Gardens Cemetery in Woodrow, TX. In lieu of memorial flowers they may be sent to: The House of Angels Funeral Home, 1928 34th street Lubbock TX.
