Johnny M. Rodriguez 73, of Lubbock Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 13,2025. Johnny was born July 23, 1951 in Tarrant County, Texas to Catarino Rodriguez and Dora M. Rodriguez. Johnny was a widow, brother, uncle, and a friend who will be missed. He worked all his life, he was a jack of all trades. Johnny enjoyed family time, having barbecues, listening to music and dancing in his spare time. Johnny will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the joy he brought to those around him.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Lupe Rodriguez; his parents, Catarino Rodrigues and Dora Rodriguez; sister, Janie R. Cortez; brother-in-law, Jesus Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Gloria Rodrigues; nephews, Henry sr. Castillo, Richard Alfaro; and niece, Erica Garcia.

Johnny is survived by his siblings, Emma Rodriguez, Samuel Rodriguez; and so many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Cremation services were under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
