John David Wishert, 45 of Lubbock passed away Friday April 16th, 2021. He was born on April 4th, 1976 in Lubbock, Texas to Johnny Mack Wishert and Ruth Velasquez. In his school days he enjoyed playing football, and later in life he received his GED. John David was dedicated to helping his mother Ruth in daily duties as well as helping with his niece and nephews he loved so much. He was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan and he made sure people knew it too. He was such a loving and caring individual, and his smile was contagious. Those left to cherish his memory are his Mother Ruth Pena; Two children, Miguel Garcia and Emralyn Wishert; Two sisters Veronica Wishert and Alison Velasquez. And two grandchildren. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date. Cremation services under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home, Lubbock, Texas.
