John G. Suniga, Sr., a lifelong resident of Lubbock, left to be with the lord on Friday, January 13, 2023. He was born on January 22, 1979 to Frances Montoya and Jesse Montoya. John was a very passionate worker, who worked many years for Texas Tech Landscaping. He was full of jokes and laughter, anyone who knew him knew there was never a dull moment around him. John spent most of his weekends cheering on his favorite football teams, Texas Tech and the Dallas Cowboys. He was a man who loved his kids more than anything. John will be dearly missed.

John is survived by his daughters, Serena Garcia, Sierra Suniga, Jazlynn Suniga, Jaylynn Suniga; sons, John Suniga, Jr., Jonathan Suniga, Antonio Suniga, and Matthew Reyna; two beautiful granddaughters, Loyalty Lindsey and Delilah Suniga

He was preceded by in death by his parents, Jesse and Frances Montoya.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angles Funeral Home.
