Joe Franco Nunez, 70, of Lubbock Texas, passed away on Saturday, September 25, 2021. He was born on March 19, 1951 in Marfa, Texas to Edwardo Franco and Juanita Chavira. Joe attended and graduated from Marfa High School. His siblings are Yolanda Henry, Lupe Gregg, Emma Vasquez, Felita Lujan, Benny Nunez and Glen Nunez. He is survived by his wife Roseanna Nunez; daughter, Jonina Franco; step-son, Andy Hernandez; Nine Grandchildren, Nathaniel Nunez, Nadia Martinez, Dezirey, Angelique, Angelo Cantu, Andrea, Andre, Joanna, and Eliza. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Edwardo Franco and Juanita Chavira; siblings, Tommy Nunez, Rudy Chavira, Abel Franco, Ophelia Toscano; and step-daughter, Jo Ann Cantu.
