"Jimmy" Santiago Serbin, Jr., 68, of Shallowater, passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He was born on February 5, 1954, in Port Lavaca, Texas to Santiago Servin, Sr. and Trinidad (Garcia) Servin. He married Ester Contreras in 2009, here in Lubbock, Texas. Jimmy enjoyed reading, painting, singing, fishing and building different things. He enjoyed watching the Houston Oilers and Texas A&M football. He was known for his homemade tortillas. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory his companion and wife of 24 years, Ester Serbin; children, Gloria Hamilton, Martha Jean Serbin, Santiago Serbin, III, Coralia Quiocho and husband Christopher, Juan Carlos Serbin, and Ester Hinojosa and husband Robert; three sisters, Josefa Fernandez, Francis Watson, and Janie Rodriguez; 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Santiago Servin, Sr., and Trinidad Servin; two sons, Jason Garcia and Fabio Rios; two sisters and six brothers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of life services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
