Jessie Benavidez, 74 of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday, February 28, 2021, in Lubbock. He was born on November 10, 1946 in Huron, Texas to the late Vidal and Maria (Villareal) Benavidez. Jessie enjoyed spending time visiting his family, he was a handyman, and loved playing bingo. He loved all his fur babies. Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Fernando, and Gabriel Benavidez: four siblings, Benito Benavides, Victoria Benavidez, Martha Laureles and Joe Benavides: and several nieces and nephews. Jessie is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Jessie Benavidez, Jr.: seven siblings, Andrew Benavidez, Nieves Benavidez, Ascension Benavidez, Irene Benavidez, Jack Benavidez, Felix Benavidez, and Inez Flores. Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at the House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home, Lubbock, Texas.
