Jasper Howard Duncan, 89, of Texico, NM died at Covenant Health in Lubbock, TX on February 1, 2021. He was born on March 29, 1931 in Hollene, NM to Jasper Dow (Japp) and Esther (Singleterry) Duncan. He married Ann Adams on November 5, 1950 in Rosedale, NM. He spent most of his life doing what he loved, farming, ranching and growing the most beautiful geraniums that were the envy of all who passed his home. He also helped with the 4-H livestock projects. He attended Texico Baptist Church. He was a loving father, grandpa and great-grandpa, always happy with an infectious smile, great sense of humor and optimistic outlook on life.
He is survived by 1 sister, Wilma Ploudre of Clovis, NM, two sons, Larry Duncan of Texico, NM, Terry (Elaine) Duncan of Lubbock, TX, two daughters, Beverly (Gary) Burnett of Roswell, NM, DeLinda Jones of Clovis, NM, and son -in-law Brian Jones of Clovis,NM, 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jasper and Esther Duncan, his wife, Ann, Three brothers, Ervin, Perle and Charlie Duncan and two sisters, Lillian Dean and Ethel Duncan, son, Danny Duncan and grandson Landon Reid.
