Jacqueline "Jackie" Zavala, 54, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was born on November 15, 1967 in Manhattan, New York to Jose Hernandez and Senaida Torres. Born and raised in New York, Jackie moved to Lubbock, to be closer to friends and start a new journey in life. She was loving, giving, funny, and smart. Jackie was an LVN for more than 15 years and had a strong passion for helping others. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, and sport shooting. Jackie was a loving daughter, sister, niece, and friend. Those left to cherish her memory are her life partner of five years, Charles Latimer; mother, Senaida Torres; father, Jose Hernandez; sister, Daphne Hernandez; aunts, Carmen "Tiny" Diaz and Teresa Torres; second mother; Linda Latimer; cousins, Kasey Demera and Ralph Acosta, second cousins; Zaida Demera, Kayla Demera and Paige Acosta.
