Ismael Mora, 73, of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021. He was born on June 17, 1948, in Allende, Coahuila, Mexico, to the late Salomon and Estela Mora. He married the late Alicia Mendoza on December 16, 1966, in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico and together they began their family. Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Ismael Mora, Jr and Enrique Mora; daughter, Carolina Mora; grandchildren, Alicia Mora, Enrique Mora, and Jessica Mora; 7 sisters, Clara Mora Quiara, Dora Elia Mora Quiara, Maria Del Refugio Mora Quiara, Blanca Estela Mora Quiara, Ana Maria Mora Quiara, Bertha Alicia Mora Quiara, and Olga Mora Avalos; 5 brothers, Enrique Mora Quiara, Salomon Mora Quiara, Alvaro Mora Quiara, Jose Alberto Mora Quiara, Juan Antonio Mora Quiara, and several extended family and friends. Ismael is preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Mora and his parents, Salomon and Estela Mora. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 27, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, Woodrow, Texas.
