Helen Ruth Kizer, 79, of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, November 10, 2022. She was born on November 30, 1942, in Rule, Texas to Delton and Zelma (Clendennen) Richardson. She married Kieffa Kizer, Sr. on December 31, 1959, in Lubbock, Texas and they began their family. Helen worked for the Lubbock and Potter County District Clerks offices, serving as a Deputy Clerk for 13 years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Kieffa Kizer, Sr; two children, Donna Castor and husband Bill, and Kieffa Kizer, Jr, all of Lubbock; one sister, Lucille Ketchum of Pampa; four grandchildren, Keely, Justin, Tyler, and Brandon; and two great granddaughters, Bentley and Lilliana.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Delton and Zelma Richardson and six siblings.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
