Harold Mack Ray, Jr., a lifelong resident of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at the age of 71. He was born on December 4, 1952, to Harold Mack Ray Sr., and Hazel (Thomas) Ray. He married the love of his life, Debbie Gallagher on July 15, 1971, in Lubbock, Texas. He was a founding member of the Woodrow Volunteer Fire Department, loved riding dirt bikes, cooking and spending time with his family. He was a business manager for the Electricians union Local 602, where he enjoyed participating in membership drives. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his Wife Debbie Ray; children, Shane Ray and Wife Julie and Seth Ray; grandchildren, Lillie, Lane, Cooper and Carter; brother, Van Ray and wife Brenda, sisters-in-law, Lora Price and husband Delbert, Billie Law, and Jo Morris and husband A.B.; brothers-in-law, Paul Hunton and wife Janet, James Gallagher and wife Marty, Brett Gallagher and wife Linda, and several extended family member and friends.

Harlod was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Mack Ray, Sr. and Hazel Ray, father and mother-in-law, Jim and Lois Gallagher, brothers- in- law, Chuck Law, and Bruce Duty, Sister-in-law, Francis Duty and nephew Brian Hunton.

Celebration of life service will be held Monday, March 18, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain, Fabian Davila officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
