He was born on July 11, 1943, in La Joya, Durango, Mexico to Angel Correa, Sr. and Silveria (Gonzalez) Correa. He married the love of his life, Carolina Gamez on April 10, 1970, in Dimmitt, Texas and together they began their family.
Chindo, as he was known to everyone, established his home in Dimmitt, Texas for most of his life.
