Gloria Ledesma, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023, at the age of 61.

Gloria was born on February 18, 1962, in Lubbock to Manuel and Antonia (Aguirre) Ramirez. Gloria was a very hard worker with great work ethic, she worked as a housekeeper for over 20 years. She was very compassionate, selfless, independent, courageous, and because of these wonderful characteristics she was the best mother anyone could ever ask for. She was a friend to all, never meeting a stranger, Gloria always had a smile on her face that was contagious to anyone she spoke to. She was a very good listener with a heart of gold, always cooking for others, and opened her home up to anyone who needed a place to stay. She enjoyed listening to music, dancing, and working in her flowerbeds with her grandchildren. Gloria was very family oriented and held everyone together. She exhibited love and peace and was known for saying, "It's all about love." Gloria will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her children, Robert Ledesma, Rita Gutierrez, and Ashley Valdez; grandchildren, Miriam Ramos, Manuel Gutierrez, Ezeakel Gutierrez and Levi Valdez; siblings, Dolores Gutierrez, Sylvia Bocanegra, Christina Ramirez and Raymond Ramirez.

Celebration of life services will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023, at 12:30 P.M. at Victory Life Church, 12401 Slide Rd., Lubbock, Texas 79424. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
