Gloria Ann Adame, age 71, was called home on Friday, January 12, 2024, surrounded by her family. Gloria was born in Lubbock on April 13, 1952, to Richard and Rebecca (Garcia) Sifuentes, Sr. While no words could ever capture the beauty of her heart or soul, her memory, love, and strength will live on for generations through her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Through thick and thin, she was the best example of how to lead a life of selflessness, always being there for those she loved. An angel with many names (Gloria, Wela, Baba), she was the strength and hero for many in the times it mattered most.

As the rock and foundation of her family, she will be dearly missed as she is reunited with her son Chris.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband Mike Montanez Sr.; daughter, Angie Adame; siblings, Edna Samarripa, Ernie Carmona and wife Pam, Richard Sifuentes, Jr. and Wife Gloria, Cynthia Urive and husband Jerry, Rene Sifuentes and wife Nelda, Evangelina Servin and husband Alex, and Oscar Sifuentes; four grandchildren, Aaron and spouse Jaide, Eric and spouse Karen, Kris and spouse Mitchel, and Joshua, eleven great grandchildren, Camille, Harrison, Logan, Miley, Lillie, Timothy, Zackary, Natalie, Kinzey, Kylie, Haylie and several extended family members.

Gloria was preceded in death by her son, Chris Adame, parents, Richard Sifuentes Sr., mother, Rebecca Sifuentes; two brothers, Hector and Oscar; grandparents, Gregorio and Lucy Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024, from 12:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, Woodrow, Texas.
