Gilberto Ramirez, 76, of Lubbock, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024. He was born on February 4, 1947 in Mexico to the late Hipolito and Micaela (Galindo) Ramirez. Gilberto enjoyed working with horses and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and grandfather and he will be deeply missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Margarita; children, Rudy Araiza, Gracie Araiza, Gilberto Ramirez, Jr., Jose Luis Ramirez, Armando Ramirez; siblings, Gustavo Ramirez, Martha Dominguez, Eddie Ramirez, Minevra Garcia, Hermila Ramirez, Jose Alfonso Ramirez; twelve grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Hipolito and Micaela; son, Juan Ramirez; two sisters; and two brothers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 1, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
