Gabriella "Gabby" Angel Marie Jenkins, 21 of Lubbock passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020. She was born on February 11, 1999 in Lubbock, Texas. A short life lived on this earth will be spending eternity with her Heavenly Father, Gabby will be missed by all that knew her. Gabby loved her music, singing and listening. She was a socializer, she loved having her phone nearby and socializing with her family and friends. She was active in Special Olympics Discus throwing. At the end of the day she enjoyed good food and reruns of Law and Order. She had a great sense of humor and was always a happy young lady. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents; Nattie Manriquez and Anthony Capetillo, siblings; Brie C., Sydney M, Daniel C., Vanessa G.,Phillip M., Elijah M., Adrian M., and Jason B., her step brothers; Nate C., and Daniel C., her grandmothers; Phyllis Manriquez, Sallie Huerta and Bernice C., five nieces and nephews; Damian, Bentley, Amia, Genesis and Ziek and several extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm with rosary being recited at 7:00 pm at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Christ the King Catholic Cathedral with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to the South Plains Special Olympics or to a charity of your choice.
