Fernando Saldana Morales, 70, of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. He was born on May 30, 1950 in Zacatecas, Mexico, to Juan and Gregoria (Saldana) Morales. He married Carol Rodriquez in September of 1978 here in Lubbock. Fernando worked for the City of Lubbock as a Water Technician for seven years before he retired, he loved having family time. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carol Morales, children: Veronica Morales and her husband Ruben Ramirez and Ramiro Morales and his wife Mary, five grandchildren: Emily, Elian, Aiden, Xiomara and Cataleya. Fernando is preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Gregoria Morales, one sister and two brothers. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Abernathy Cemetery in Abernathy, Texas.
