Fernando Escobedo, Sr, 80 of Lubbock passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 20, 1940 in Alamo, Texas to the late Justo and Benita Escobedo. He married Juanita Morales in December of 1964 here in Lubbock, and together they started their family. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Juanita Escobedo, children: Fernando Escobedo, Jr. and his wife Patricia and Esmeralda Escobedo, two brothers, ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Fernando is preceded in death by his parents, one son, Joel Escobedo, two brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park in Woodrow, Texas.
