Fernando Calzada, 54, of Lorenzo, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born on January 3, 1971, in Petersburg, Texas to Pedro and Manuela (Guerrero) Calzada. Fernando worked for Honda of Lubbock during the 90's as a motorcycle mechanic. He loved riding motorcycles. He was catholic by faith. Fernando will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Jesse Calzada and wife Norma; brother in law, Albert Martinez and several extended family and friends.

Fernando was preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Manuela Calzada, siblings, Pedro Daniel Calzada, Florencio G. Calzada, and Rosa Maria Calzada.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 6:30 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home, 1928 34th Street, Lubbock, Texas. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at San Lorenzo Catholic Church, 508 5th Street, Lorenzo, Texas 79343, with burial to follow at the Lorenzo Cemetery.
