Ezekiel Garcia, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at the age of 42. He was born on September 10, 1980, to Wally and Evangelina (Martinez) Garcia. Ezekiel was a local Barber and loved his job. He loved spending time with people making them laugh, playing pool, bowling or even fishing. He enjoyed music and would often put his own words to the beat of a rap.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Wally, and Evangelina; daughters, Jordyn Garcia and Zaedee Garcia; sisters, Laura Ramirez and husband Gabriel Flores, and Andrea Garcia and boyfriend Timothy Martinez; grandmother, Antonia Garcia and several extended family and friends.

Ezekiel was preceded in death by his grandmother, Antonia Jaquez, and grandfather, Guadalupe "Wally" Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service being held at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Rock City Church,5833 4th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79416, with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
