My beautiful Angel, Evangelina R. (Vangie) Holt, was called up by the Lord to be one of his angels. Vangie was born on February 16, 1949, and passed away on March 23, 2023, surrounded in love by her family. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert (Bob) Holt; daughter, Connie Michelle Stevenson, Grandchildren: Victoria M Benitez, Blake E. Megason (Leticia), Trey A. Megason (Samantha), Robert W. Megason, and Austin D. Megason and Great Grandchildren: Aiden T. Megason and Blake E. Megason.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, TerryAnn Holt-Megason and her parents, Manuel and Teresa C. Ramirez. Vangie has 3 brothers and a sister, many nieces and nephews and was greatly adored by her cousin Mary Gomez and family.

Vangie graduated in 1967 from Ysleta High School and attended El Paso Community College. Vangie retired in 2010 after 40 years of service as the Directress of Religious Formation at St. Raphael's Parish and St. Francis Xavier Cabrini Catholic Church. Vangie will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who knew the beautiful, loving, and caring person that she was. She was a true inspiration to the many that knew her and remember that she was always ready to give of herself to others.

Funeral Mass: Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 11:30 am at St. Raphael's Parish, 2301 Zanzibar, El Paso, Texas 79925. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
