Edward "Bryan" Barnhouse IIII, was born on April 4, 1962, in San Diego, California and spent his first day in heaven on July 31, 2022.
We weep at his passing, we celebrate the Man Bryan was he was larger than life, living unapologetically on his own terms. This life could not contain him. Fly free my brother, my best friend. While my guitar gently weeps Fly free "The First Day in Heaven" the first day in Heaven must be an awesome sight, greeted by Jesus, amazing Grace and all that light, surrounded with family and so many friends. What a celebration and the joy that never ends. Although we're grieving and will be for a while, when we cross over, we'll be reunited in style.

Bryan was born in San Diego, CA to Edward Bryan Barnhouse Jr. and Sara Jo. The family moved to El Paso, TX when Bryan 7 years old with his first dog, a poodle named Pebbles. Bryan, was a Man's Man. He didn't say it often, but we will always cherish the love he bestowed upon us. He routinely showed his profound gratitude and love of family and friends. Bryan was fiercely loyal, and his generosity of spirit will live on in our hearts, always. Our family thanks you for your love and support as we learn to get through this life without the man who was the fixer of the Barnhouse family. Thank you, Father God, for loaning us Bryan to serve, protect and love his family, friends and his beloved dogs. Bryan was the Life of every party. He had the gift of gab and if you didn't need it, he would sell it to you anyway. He taught us his sales philosophy; It is all in perception. If the buyer and seller are both happy, it has been a successful transaction. He loved Southern Rock and Roll, especially the Allman Brothers band, Lynyrd Skynyrd & The Marshall Tucker Band as well a little band from across the pond, Led Zepplin. As kids we always had music playing in the house whether it be our Dad, "Fast Eddie" strumming the guitar as Mom sang or played the piano or we were listening to the radio, vinyl, cassettes or Eight track tapes. Bryan was a fixer. He had a keen mind and was apt at solving problems. He never met a problem (or a bread pudding with bourbon sauce) to big for him to tackle. Bryan went to Eastwood Knolls and Eastwood H S. His first job was as a lot attendant at Barnhouse Motors on Montana and McRae in El Paso, TX. The auto industry captivated him, and he worked tirelessly to help his family have a better life. He remained in the car business for the remainder of his life. His first and last business mentor was Richard Johnson of Hobbs, NM. Mr. Johnson, his late wife Thelma, daughter Barbara and the entire Johnson family were deeply loved and appreciated by Bryan. The Johnson family embraced Bryan and ensured his success through the ups and downs. Bryan was a top producer in his region. The auto auction was one his favorite places to be. He made countless friends, business associates of other auto dealers who he loved "swapping" cars and visiting with.
