Dora (Guerrero) Salinas, 82, of Petersburg, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born on April 1, 1942, in George West, Texas to the late Jose and Dominga (Flores) Guerrero. She married the love of her life, Max Salinas, Jr., in September 1973, and together they began their family.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Monica Carrillo and husband Jesus, Veronica Carrillo, Rosemary Ovalle and husband Jesse, Maria Villin, Daniel Salinas, and Christopher Salinas; twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; siblings, Guadalupe Salinas, and Aurelia Garcia.

Dora was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max Salinas, Jr., and grandson, Joshua John Hinojosa.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, 1928 34th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79411. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Primera Iglesia Bautista, 1204 Ave J, Petersburg, Texas 79250 with burial to follow at the Petersburg Cemetery, Petersburg, Texas.
