Dora Carolina Moreno, 83, of Brownfield passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. She was born on February 3, 1941, in Sugar Land, Texas to Benito Rivera, Sr. and Dolores (Ramirez) Rivera. She married the love of her life, Joseph Moreno on November 5, 1955, in Brownfield and together they started their family. Dora was a Certified Nurse Aide and was employed with Cottage Village until her retirement in the early 2000's. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all that knew her.

Those let to cherish her memory are her daughter, Gloria Gonzalez and husband Thomas; grandchildren, Albert Joe Martinez, Sara Weber and husband Adam, and Tomas Anthony Gonzalez; Great granddaughter, Ellie Lynn Gonzalez; and one brother, Benito Rivera, Jr.

Dora was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Moreno; daughters, Sara Moreno; parents, Benito Rivera, Sr. and Dolores Rivera; two sisters and two brothers.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
