Donald Edward Reis, II, "Broken Feather", 63, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on July 4, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Donald Edward Reis, Sr. and Anne Rehme. After high school graduation, Donald proudly served a four-year term with the United States Marine Corps, he then studied Culinary Arts with Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Donald enjoyed working as a long-haul truck driver and was currently employed by Amazon as an XL Expert. He had a great sense of humor, loved to cook, and drive the open roads. He could quote "Monty Python" word for word and still enjoy every minute of it all over again. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Anne Rehme; wife, Belinda Reis; daughters, Cheyenne Reis and Allexis McTooch and husband Chris; son, Donald Komar and wife Jessica; sisters, Mary Ann Reis, Mary Beth Bausch and husband Francisco, Merry Carol Afraid Of Bear; brother-in-law, Bill Gunzenhouser, five grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews. Donald is preceded in death by his father; Donald Reis, Sr., son, Donald Reis, III, sister, Mary Kim Gunzenhauser, brother-in-law, Marvin Afraid Of Bear, and both sets of grandparents.
