Dominga Irlas, 74, of Lubbock passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. She was born on February 20, 1949, in Staples, Texas to Dimas and Paula (Rodriguez) Marmolejo. Dominga loved to sing her praise to the Lord. She enjoyed watching her children grow up and become parents of their own.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Johnny Vela, Teresa Castaneda and husband Steven, Sonia Guerrero, Gloria Basaldua and husband Juan, Melissa Teague and husband Brian, and Israel Irlas, Jr., and Wife Priscilla; Siblings, Jackie Montoya, Juan Marmolejo, Joe Marmolejo, and Nick Marmolejo; 20 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service being held at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 1, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
