Diana Medrano-Hines

Dec 22, 1977 — Aug 11, 2026

Lubbock, Texas

After a six-year battle with cancer, Diana joined her mother, Martha Saldivar Medrano and her grandparents, Miguel and Aurora Saldivar in Heaven on August 12th, 2026.

Diana was a brave and courageous young woman. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking for her family. Her nieces and nephews were her pride and joy! In her eyes, there was no distinction between friends and family-they were all family. Diana was a member of Church on the Rock North campus for several years. She loved worshiping Jesus! Every church friend was family.

Diana enjoyed watching football games and wrestling matches. Oftentimes you would hear her loud cheers coming from her bedroom. She never missed a Hallmark Christmas movie all year round! Christmas was her favorite holiday. She LOVED seeing her nieces and nephews open their gifts with much joy!

Those left to cherish Diana’s memory are her husband, Kendrick, her siblings, Nina Medrano, Victor, Essie Palumbo (husband, Ed, favorite brother-in-law), Joseph, Daniel (wife, Celeste), and David (wife, Cindy). Including 20 nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and great-nephews. As well as Aunts, Uncles and many cousins!
