Obituary

Delwin Van Keith Majors, 55, of Lubbock, passed away on December 6, 2021. He was born on April 23, 1966, in Lubbock, Texas to Leonard Harvey and Della Louise (Davis) Majors. Delwin graduated from Estacado High School in 1984, his senior year making it to the State Football Championship and was later referred to as "84 Boys". Delwin had a huge love for all sports, but was an avid Cowboys fan, as well as other outdoor activities, such as fishing. He married the love of his life, Kimberlie Smith on July 29, 2002, here in Lubbock. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 19 years Kimberlie Smith-Majors; children, Brandon Van Keith Quigley, Curtis Jerome Smith, Terry Jordin Smith; brother, Kelvin Gerard Majors, aunt, Betty Ellis; cousins, Jacque Ellis, Roderick Ellis, Cleveland Ellis, and Elizabeth Ellis; two granddaughters, Serenity Halo Parks, Tavianna Tyquel Quigley. Delwin is also survived by his precious extend family Charlotte Jamison Roland, Porcha Roland Jones, Joe Pookie Roland, Cassaundra Roland Henderson, Bradford Roland, and Ronnie Roland. His "84 Boys", that were like family to him are also left to cherish his memory, Derrick "Bubba" White, Henry "Burger" Alsbrooks, B.T. "Frog" Ross, Terry "Buck" Upshaw, Dwight "Sweet pea" Petties, Danny Williams, Michael Irvin, Glen Willis, De'Shawn Avery, Roosevelt Portee, Doug Willis, Perry Mckinney, Kevin Collins, Mike Mckenzie. Delwin was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Harvey and Della Louise Majors, brother, Elvin Majors, brother-in-law, Danny Dewees, grandparents, several aunts and uncles. Services are pending at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donation be made by selecting the "Tribute Fund" or "Donate Now" button at the top of this page, to assist with the final expenses for Delwin's funeral services.
