Delores Cavarrubio, 65, of Lubbock passed away on Monday, January 4, 2021. She was born on October 21, 1955 in Lubbock, Texas to Marcelino and Rosalina (Prado) Manriquez. Delores married Leocadio Cavarrubio, Jr, and together they celebrated 30 years of marriage. She retired from University Medical Center, where she worked in medical records. Delores attended Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, watching the Cowboys play, and spending quality time with her grandchildren. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Leo; sons, Jay Paredez, and Jacob Paredez; siblings, Marcelino Manriquez, Jr., Ruby Rodriguez, Mary Alice Varela, Larry Joe Manriquez, Linda Hobson, Danny Manriquez; grandchildren, John David, Amanda, Alexis, Alexia; great-grandchildren, Sariyah, Ja'Leigh, and Kyrin Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Marcelino and Rosalina Manriquez. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that donations be made, by clicking the "Donate Now" button at the top of the screen to assist with the finances of Delores funeral service.
