David Nunez Romo, a lifelong resident of Lubbock passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021, at the age of 55. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with a prayer service being held at 6:00 P.M. and Rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, Woodrow, Texas. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donation be made by selecting the "Tribute Fund" or "Donate Now" button at the top of this page, to assist with the final expenses for David's funeral services. David was born on December 19, 1965, to the late Fernando and Ramona (Nunez) Romo. He attended Lubbock High School and was in the construction industry as a tile and carpet layer. David loved spending time with his family having cook outs and watching the Dallas Cowboys play football. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Danielle Romo; three brothers, Benito, Ruben, and Robert Romo; seven sisters, Esmeralda Marquez and husband Ines, Erma Pauda Romo, Linda Ramirez and husband Jesse, Mary Helen Romo, Alma Lozano and husband Ramon, Sally Piseno Ellis and husband Perry and Alice Romo; and several extended family and friends. David is preceded in death by his parents, Ferando and Ramon Romo.
