David Lopez, Sr., 60, of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. He was born on September 22, 1962, in Mathis, Texas to Teofilo and Santos (Rendon) Lopez. He loved working, he was employed by Top Builders for over four years. He enjoyed fishing and going out for a cruz around the town. His grandchildren meant the world to him, he will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Victoria Nicole Lopez; son, David Lopez, Jr.; three grandchildren, Haevyn Lopez, Nicholas Lopez, and Tillie Lopez; six sisters, Rosa, Anita, Esmeralda, Olga, Yolanda, and Janie and several extended family members.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Teofilo and Santos Lopez; wife, Diane Luera Lopez; four brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. with a funeral service to begin at 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
