David Castro, Sr., 63, of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was born on June 20, 1958, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Eliodoro and Esperanza (Arevalo) Castro. David had such a giving heart; his greatest pleasure was to donate his long hair to the Locks of Love program to assist cancer patients. He was an avid 49er's fan, he loved Harley Davidson cycles, even though he was not lucky enough to own one. David had a very outgoing personality and loved spending time with his family, his grandchildren, nieces and nephews. David will be missed by all that knew him. Left to cherish his memory are his two children, David Castro, Jr. and wife Priscilla and Chantile Dobitz; four grandchildren, Jasmin, Danielle, Nicholas and Aubrey; four brothers, Pablo, Juan, Eliodoro and Tom; four sisters, Silvia, Rosa, Hermina, and Amilia. David was preceded in death by his parents, Eliodoro and Esperanza Castro, and one brother Domingo Castro. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
