Danny Guerra, a lifelong resident of Brownfield, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024. He was born on May 4, 1962, in Brownfield to Guadalupe and Louisa (Serbantez) Guerra. Danny loved to listen to music and he even enjoyed playing the drums and sometime he would play a bit on the guitar. He enjoyed working in the garden and raising chickens and pigs. Danny had a great sense of humor, he was always joking around with people and never met a stranger. He loved his grandchildren, they were the sparkle in his eye, and his mother was the most important woman in his life. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Louisa Guerra; children, Isabel Martinez, Jerry Joe Guerra, Clarisa Vasquez, and Dolores Martinez; 14 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; siblings, Albert Guerra and wife Rachel, Anita Cuellar and husband Hector, Jr., and Rita Cruz and husband Domingo.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Guadalupe Guerra; son, Danny Albert Guerra; brothers, Jerry Guerra, and Lupe Guerra, Jr. and longtime partner, Stephanie Martinez

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. with rosary being recited at 4:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 11, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with burial to follow at the Brownfield Cemetery.
