Danny Dee Dewees, 57, of Lubbock, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2021. He was born on May 23, 1964 in Lamesa, Texas to Kenneth Randall and Linda Caroline (Bolton) Dewees. Danny was a man who loved to live on the adventurous side of life from a young age, he loved to go sky diving, and riding his dirt bikes. He had a love for the outdoors, including some of his favorite activities of fishing, hunting, and camping. Danny loved his family, and all of his friends. He met his sweet wife, Wisper Weston 17 years ago, and they have been enjoying life together for the last 6 years. Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Wisper; children, Toddy Dewees and family, Clifton Newell, Jr. and wife, Alice and their six children, Tosha Newell, and her three children, Christy Poisol, Ethan Carrell, Heath Carrell, and Cameron Weston; parents, Randy and Linda Dewees; sister, Kimberly Majors and her spouse, and three children; brothers, Brett Miller, Ben Mannino, and Bo Luck; two bonus grandchildren, Michelle Garza, and her three children, and Gabriel Garza. Danny is preceded in death by his sister, Tami Dewees, and his son Queston Newell. A potluck in Celebration of Danny's Life will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 1:00p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Oyster bar at 3040 34th St, Lubbock, TX 79410. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
