Daniel Saiz, 67, of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, April 22, 2021. He was born on September 3, 1953 in San Miguel County, New Mexico, to the late Ignacio and Agripana (Parson) Saiz. Daniel was proud to be a New Mexico native, he shared many trips to New Mexico with his family and the stories he told of New Mexico let you know how proud he was to call the land of enchantment his birth state. Daniel retired after 30 years of employment from Excel Meat Packing Plant and worked another 10 years with High Pro, during his spare time he enjoyed watching boxing, and spoiling his five grandchildren. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Tiffany Terrazas and husband Manuel; five grandchildren, Thallia, Manuel, Daniel, Myella, and Natalie; one sister, Patricia Highsmith and husband Randall; one niece, Michelle and one nephew, Randall. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Frank Saiz, and one aunt, Mary Diaz. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at 3:00 P.M. at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
