Daniel M. Perez, Jr.

Daniel Perez, Jr., 58, of Lubbock, passed away surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. He was born on July 22, 1967, to Daniel and Fella Perez, Sr. Daniel graduated from Lubbock high School in 1986, where he enjoyed playing sports. He met and married Maribel Escobedo on August 18, 1990, and together they began building their family. Daniel volunteered as a baseball coach for many years, especially for all his children teams when they were younger. He was a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, and he loved to joke around. Daniel had a way with always making people laugh. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Daniel was a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, cousin, and friend.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Maribel Perez; children, Isaac Perez (Vanessa), and Monica Gracia (Jace); sisters, Maria Salazar (Ernesto), Esme Carrillo (Aaron), and Rebecca Perez; grandchildren, Keyana Claudio, Nevaeh Perez-Gracia, Ziian Perez, Zaaryn Perez, Xaidyn Perez, and Edward Gracia.

Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Guadalupe and Susana Perez, and Constantino and Concepcion Medellin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. ~ 1:00 p.m. with funeral services to begin at 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
