Wenceslao Cruz Perez, 67, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born on September 28, 1954, in Maxwell, Texas to Cirldo Perez, Sr. and Bicenta (Lopez) Perez. Cruz attended Our Lady of Grace and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church both in Lubbock. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 20 years, Matilda Guerrero; children, Daniel Guerrero and wife Savannah, Kristy Perez, Timothy Paul Robinson and Abby Perez; several grandchildren; siblings, Ruben Perez, Roy Perez, Janie Sanchez, Carmen Perez, Tony Perez, Lupe Perez, Dora Nosekabel, Juan Perez, Rudy Perez, Isabel Hittel, David Perez and Robert Perez; several extended family and friends. Cruz is preceded in death by his parents, Cirldo Perez, Sr. and Bicenta Perez; three siblings, Cirldo Perez, Jr., Diego Perez, and Linda Perez. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021, from 4:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. with rosary being recited at 7:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park, Woodrow, Texas.
