Cosette Layne Benavides, of Lubbock, left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at the age of 15. She was born on May 6, 2010 in Lubbock, to Rick and Lesla Benavides.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 4:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, 1928 34th Street, Lubbock, Texas 79411. Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2026 at First Baptist Church, 2201 Broadway St., Lubbock, Tx 79401 with burial to follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial Donations be to the Live Oak Students Ministry (LOSM) Youth Group, 10710 Frankford Avenue, Lubbock, Texas 79424.
