Christopher L. Campos

Christopher Lee Campos, 45, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, passed away surrounded by family on Monday, June 29, 2026. He was born on February 17, 1981, to Diane Sanchez. Chris met Andrea and they built their lives together for over 16 years and got married on April 16, 2021. He was a man with a big character, he was known to be the support person who always gave his encouraging word, “if it don’t apply, let it fly”. Don’t stress things in this life; he loved his family, blood or not. Chris enjoyed many things, playing basketball or almost any sport, cooking, listening to music, and just enjoying life around him. He especially loved his children but had a special love for the baby of the family, their bulldog, Trixiepooh. Chris was a HUGE Fan to the San Antonio Spurs, the Atlanta Falcons, the Yankees, and even the Texas Longhorns. You could find him watching ESPN more times than not. Chris loved his family, he was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 16 years, Andrea Campos; their children, Jonah Campos, Caleb Rodriguez, Zanae Lucio; parents, Santiago & Diane Santiago; grandmother, Frances Rangel; brothers, Ricardo Campos, Jr., Santiago Santiago, Jr. (Veronica), Thomas Santiago, Marcos Santiago; sister, Francisca Campos (Cesilio); grandchildren, Christopher Rodriguez, Anthony Morales, and Jonathan Rodriguez; his favorite niece, Abigail Campos.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026, with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with burial to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
