Carolina Rocha

Carolina Rocha, 80, of Slaton, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 3, 2026. She was born in Limestone County, Texas to the late Severo and Dominga Alvarado on October 6, 1945. Carolina was a woman with a free spirit; always had a smile on her face. She loved to be a proper person, always dressed her best, and made sure her house was always spotless. Carolina enjoyed the simple things of life, gardening, enjoying the sunsets, and making friends. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Those left to cherish her memory are her siblings, Helen Parras and husband Delfino, Catrina Maldonado, and David Alvarado and wife Margaret; niece and nephew, Lisa Torres and Phillip Maldonado; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, and Eddy; one great-grandchild; several nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

Carolina was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mariano Rocha; son, Eddy Rocha; siblings, John, Joseph, and Isabel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 from 12:00 p.m. ~ 8:00 p.m. with rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, 1928 34th St., Lubbock, Texas. Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 705 S 4th St., Slaton, Texas. Burial will follow at Englewood cemetery in Slaton, Texas.
