Carlos Arreguin, 68, of Lubbock, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024. He was born on May 26, 1955 to Alejandro & Maria (Garza) Arreguin, in Lubbock, TX. Carlos was a hard worker, he grew up in Lubbock, and started working as soon as he could. Later in life, he moved to Oregon, where he was a Volunteer Firefighter and helped alongside to put out wildfires. Carlos then moved to Colorado, where he worked for Western Sugar CO-OP for over 10 years. He had many roles there and worked in all different areas of the factory. Carlos then decided to move back home to Lubbock, to be closer to his family. He loved Dancing, spending time with his friends. He also enjoyed trying to win the lottery scratch offs, and often going to the casinos. Carlos loved to dance, as well as watch his Dallas Cowboys & Oregon Ducks play football.
Those left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Diana Del Toro and her husband, Armando, Ed Ureste, Edward Steinman and his wife, Katrina, and Mary Ponce; nieces and nephews, Eric Puente, Naomi Campos, Celestino Vasquez, Chris Arreguin, Javier Ponce, Kassandra Hernandez, Arianna Hernandez, JR. Hernandez, Kyle Olson, Trevor Olson, Edward Steinman, Kassandra Steinman; several extended family members and friends.
Carlos was proceeded in death by his parents, Alejandro & Maria (Garza) Arreguin; sisters, Ofelia Arreguin, Delores Garcia; and nephew, Dori Puente.
No services are being held at this time. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
