Beverly (Sandoval) Alonzo-Tijerina, 63, of Lubbock passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 8, 1957 in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Erminio and Linia (Martinez) Sandoval.
Beverly loved to cook, she was a baker, she loved her family time and spending time with the grandkids was the best. She was baptized in Jesus Name at the Bread of Life Church.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children: Victoria Garza and husband John, Gregorio Alonzo and wife Melissa, Christina Layland and Desarae Martinez 13 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren: eight siblings: Ileen Figueroa, Robert Sandoval, Mary Jane Ramirez, Jody Sandoval, Zidia Chavez, Yolanda Sandoval Campos, Phebe Jaramillo, and Alisha Castaneda.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Juaquin Alonzo, daughter and son in law: Mercedes and James Gonzales, grandson, Adrian Gonzales and six siblings
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 21, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery.
