Betty Jean Goforth, a lifelong resident of Lubbock, Texas passed away on Monday, June 23, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on November 9, 1939, in Lubbock to John and Lillie (Roland) Dillon. She was a nurse in the public health field. Betty enjoyed dancing in her younger years. She was a loving sister and aunt and will be missed by all that knew her.

Those left to cherish her loving memories are her brother Don Dillon, and several nieces and nephews.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, John and Lillie Dillon; husband, Billy Goforth; stepdaughter, Renee Goforth; brothers, Dean, Raymond, Jessie, Leon, Joe and J.T. Dillion, and one sister, Ella Loretta Goforth.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, Texas.
