Betty Coward, 92, passed away on Monday April 14, 2025. She was born on May 17, 1932, to Steve and Gracie (Lawson) Burkett in Kenedy, Texas. During her younger years Betty enjoyed working in her garden and working with her roses. She loved to draw and color with her grandchildren and family.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Bradley Coward and wife Liz; special caregivers, Kristi Harris and Haliey Jones; four grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Gracie Burkett, husband, Allen Lee Coward and daughter Dolorce Ann Chumley.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025, at Resthaven Memorial Park.
