Bartolo Arthur Licona, Jr., 58, of Lubbock passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2022. He was born on September 4, 1964, in Littlefield, Texas to Arthur Licona, Sr. and Adelaida (DeLeon) Licona. He married the love of his life, Sylvia Coronado, on April 10, 2016, in Lubbock, after being a couple for over 13 years. Bartolo loved spending time with his family and friends, his grandchildren were his world, he loved spending time with them. He was known for his green thumb; he could grow plants of every kind. He loved to watch football with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sylvia Licona; children, Chasity Licona, Cassandra Licona, Rebecca Flores and husband Moses, Flores, Jr., Ramiro Picon, Jr. and wife Misty, and Stephen Picon and partner Natasha Herrera; sisters, Maria Diaz, Amanda Diaz and Rebecca De La Rosa and husband Robert.; 22 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

Bartolo was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Licona, Sr. and Adelaida DeLeon and son Issac Flores.

Celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 6:30 p.m. at Holy Faith Christian Church, 3016 Idalou Rd, Lubbock, Texas 79403. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
