Baldemar Saldana, 87, of Lubbock, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Monday, February 19, 2024. He was born on November 11, 1936 in Uvalde, Texas to the late Antonio and Conception (Gonzales) Saldana. Baldemar was a family man who loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially to watch his Cowboys. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Gilbert Saldana, Sr., Noemi Alvarez and husband, Salvador, and Norma Murphy; brother, Federico Saldana; 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Baldemar was proceeded in death by his parents, Antonio and Conception; wife, Angela Saldana; siblings, Eva, Benito, Florencio, Fransico, Pablo, and Delores.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. ~ 9:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024 at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at City of Lubbock Cemetery.
